Dylan is awesome!

Dylan is such a great student. He doesn't always like to do his homework but he is getting really good at disciplining himself to get it done after school so he has time for the important things, namely--PLAYING WITH JUSTIN! Dylan has got 100% on every spelling test this year. What a stud!
I love you Dylan! You are such a fantastic kid!

Kate gets her orange belt at karate!

Kate got her Orange Belt at Karate this week. She loves karate and loves her friend too--look how she's playing with her hair. Silly girl!

2nd Grade Field Trip

I got to go with Dylan's 2nd grade class on a field trip to a museum. Kate and Madi came along too. It was fun to have six little ones in the car, plus one of Dylan's teachers drove with us too!

Dancing Waters

We brought a change of clothes so the kids could run through the "Dancing Waters", as they call them. They especially love the steam. Madi was totally NOT interested in running into the water. She was content to just watch them be crazy.

Safety Day

The kids had the day off for parent-teacher conference so we went on a field trip. As we were getting in the car to go to the children's museum we noticed a helicopter hovering nearby. It didn't seem like it was in much of a hurry so we thought it might be something other than an emergency. We followed it to a nearby shopping center parking lot where we found a huge Safety Fair going on. The kids met a K-9 dog named, Madi, got candy from police officers, met Smokey the Bear, went into two fire trucks and checked out the helicopter. What a fun start to their day-off-from-school.
